1. Standard Domestic Orders:

 

Processing time: We make every attempt to process your order as quickly as possible. Typically, orders received are processed and shipped within two (2) business days, but in some cases may take up to 7 business days to process. Most orders ship from Concord, MA, 01742 USA. Cancellation: We reserve the right to cancel any transaction at any time. If your order has been cancelled and you have made a payment, we will refund your payment promptly. If you have placed an order and wish to cancel or change your order, please contact us as soon as possible.

 

2. Warranty, Returns, Refunds & Exchanges:

 

Accessories: We will accept returns within 30 days from the date of purchase on any of our accessories. You must obtain an RMA number from us prior to returning your item(s). Products must be in new, unused condition, with original packaging intact. Caps on sealed products (e.g. receiver driers, condensers) must be undisturbed and any inert gas charge must be present in component. Valid returns will receive either a full refund, exchange, or replacement (provided stock is available), or a store credit (at the customer’s option). In the case of defective components, Klima Design Works will cover all return shipping costs. Otherwise, buyer will bear all shipping costs associated with return. Returns should be sent using a shipping service which provides a tracking number.

Kits: Please note that we generally do not offer returns on any of our kits, except in the case of defective components. If an error was made upon ordering (e.g. a kit was ordered for the wrong vehicle), please contact us immediately. In the case of defective components, please contact us to arrange for replacement components. Any warranty claims will require proof of purchase, return of the defective part(s) for inspection, and an RMA number (obtained from us) prior shipping defective part(s) back to us. We will do our very best to expedite warranty processing. We will cover any return and replacement shipping costs (both ways) within the Continental US for defective components.

Compressors: Returns for reasons other than warranty claims are typically not accepted.  All compressors have a limited 1 year warranty. Please note that compressor failure due to manufacturing defects is very uncommon, whereas premature compressor failure due to installer error is very common.  Evidence of internal debris from an improperly flushed system will void your compressor warranty. You are required you to replace your receiver drier and thermal expansion valve to qualify for warranty coverage, and must provide proof of purchase thereof within 30 days before or after your compressor purchase if requested. Falsified or fictitious receipts won’t be accepted. Any evidence indicating the use of non standard refrigerants will void warranty (i.e. you may only use R-134a or R-12 to qualify). All compressor returns must be approved in advance and have been issued an RMA number. We do not cover any labor or materials costs associated with component failure.

 

3. International Orders:

 

Please contact us for a shipping quote. Our shopping cart does not support international checkout, and we handle payment by sending a custom digital invoice (payable by major credit card). Though we value our international customers, please be aware that we do not ship to all countries. Also note that under no circumstances will we falsify customs documents to avoid tariff or other charges.

 

4. Pre-Order Offers and Backorders:

 

Pre-Order Offers: Some of our products are available under special manufacture-to-order offers. Offer terms and details can be found in the specific product listing.

Backorders: If a product is on backorder and you wish to queue to receive first preference, please contact us. If a product unexpectedly becomes backordered, we will contact you promptly. You will be offered the option of a full refund, or you may elect to queue.

 

5. Legal Disclaimer:

 

Our kits may modify the original system design of your vehicle, and have not been approved, reviewed, or endorsed by Daimler AG or Sanden International. Installation of any of our kits implies that the user and/or installer understands and accepts that the kit(s) is/are not system modification(s) approved by the vehicle manufacturer and is/are intended for off-road use only. The user and installer accepts all risks associated with use and installation of our kits. We accept no liability for damages which may result from the installation and use of our kits or components. Our kits and components are intended to be installed only by qualified persons who are certified to perform maintenance on mobile a/c systems.
